Navigating life is like trekking through a wild forest—there are roots to trip on, thorns to scratch you, but also sunlight breaking through the canopy. It can be tough to handle life when you're feeling hurt and worn out by what you've been through. If you're struggling with relationships, dealing with work stress, or trying to break through emotional hurdles, I'm here to offer caring support.

During your time with me, you'll find a secure and open environment where you can think about and talk about your thoughts, emotions, and actions. My aim is to help you gain a better understanding of yourself, learn healthier ways to deal with challenges, and start moving towards a better future.

Hi, I'm Catherine Montague

I am an integrative therapist, who believes in the power of positive relationships, inviting and accepting your vulnerabilities to give you a feeling of belonging enabling you to accept yourself and others.  I have a particular grounded style where I appreciate how frustrating and devastating it can be to suffer from mental health issues, I aim to help you gain clarity of thought, resilience and a sense of peace.

Struggling with depression?

In today's busy and challenging world, it's normal to feel sad, stressed, or down occasionally. But if these feelings continue and disrupt your daily activities, it could be a sign of a more serious mental health issue called depression.

Depression is a common and treatable mental health problem that affects millions of people around the world. Even though it's widespread, there are still many misunderstandings and negative views about depression. I can help you understand and fully accept yourself, guiding you to find your own way with kindness towards yourself and others.

Therapy has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life, helping me unpack emotions I didn’t even know I was carrying. Having a safe, non-judgmental space meant I’ve learned to manage anxiety, reframe negative thoughts, and embrace self-compassion. It’s not always easy, but it’s truly worth it.
